Mental Wellness Tools
Below is a compilation of resources that I have found helpful in my own journey. I update this page regularly to share more information as I learn. Many of these resources are things that I have put together for you, which I provide at no cost; others are outside resources not affiliated with SJG, which I have personally used and found valuable. While some outside resources do contain affiliate links, nothing below is intended as advertisement.
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17 ESV
I use this page as my way to share resources and thoughts that I believe could help others on their own mental wellbeing journey. Regardless of if you use SJG’s paid services or not, subscribing allows you to stay up to date on any tools I share. I pray that some of what has helped me may help you, too!

When You Feel Abandoned by God
How can we cope when we feel abandoned by God? If you have these feelings, does it make you a bad Christian? (Spoiler alert: It doesn’t.)
The bible is filled with people who feel abandoned by God. Through reading others’ experiences, you can know that you are not alone in feeling alone.
Intimate
A poem.
I want…
To hold Your hand
To touch Your face
To intimately know
The Lord, my God
And, I can.

What Do You Fear?
What do you fear more: God, or your affliction, circumstance, and those who sin against you? In this sin-filled world, we have plenty to fear. And yet, when it comes to these things, we are commanded NOT to fear (Isaiah 41:10 NIV), and we are commanded TO fear God (Psalm 111:10).
Why? And what really is fear?
The answers, and the process of humbly seeking those answers, will bring us closer to the Lord our God.
You can find peace.
You don’t have to be alone in your journey.
